ACCOMODATONS:
Mandarin Focus recommends different types of accommodations, from three stars to five star hotels, from home stay to apartment sharing with either local people or students from Mandarin Focus or even an individual apt., based on location and comfort for your reference. Usually they are near school, and within walking or biking distance. Tell us your requirement and we try to provide the best as we can.

Apartments:
If you plan to study here for months, we suggest you rent local apartment, which would be less expensive than a hotel. They are usually well equipped with TV, couch, refrigerator, washing machine, microwave oven, furniture etc for daily life. In Beijing there are several real estate agents who can assist you in renting an apartment. If you want to share your apartment with local people or students from MandarinFocus, please let us know. We definitely would like to provide our help to you.
Home stay:
We also may arrange you to stay with a Chinese family, In this case, you may benefit in practicing your Chinese language. We screen many different types of host families and we try to arrange the best match for you based on the information given to us in your application.

Arrival: We suggest you arrive on a Saturday. For students who are coming from overseas, we can provide transportation arrangements to and from the airport at your request. (Pickup service can also be arranged for a small fee.)
Airfair: We suggest you obtain your own plane tickets. Orbitz, Expedia and other travel sites can help you. Be sure to contact us with your travel information so that we will know when to expect you and when to pick you up at the airport.
